Akamix: Help

The Search Browser

Enhance your search experience!

Choose a language:

Click on "Tools" and select "Preferences..."

Abstracts:

Select "Create and show abstracts" to allow Akamix to extract the information relevant to your key words from each result.

Prefetching:

Prefetching allows Akamix to download each result before going to the page. Only links returned as results from search engines are prefetched.

Select "Prefetch all the content of each result" to prefetch texts, images, style sheets, ...

Select "Prefetch only index" to prefetch only the main text from each result.

Page content:

Select "Scroll pages automatically to find the key words" to allow Akamix to automatically show you the first key word in each page.

Installation:

Select "Show Akamix button on top of browser window" to quickly launch Akamix from IE or Firefox by clicking on the green button on the title bar of the browser window.

Click on "Uninstall Akamix" to remove Akamix from your computer.
